Great deck screws

I have used these screws for years and plan on using them. I've been building cedar raised garden beds with these and they hold well and are easy to install without having to pre-drill.

I was happy to see that the star bit is included. I installed a 120 foot privacy fence with 240 6 foot pickets, each board had 9 of these screws to hold it. Never had a single screw strip or fail. good stuff

I’ve been using these for over a decade after having them recommended to me by a higher-end home builder for use as a sheathing screw. They’re excellent all-around and I use them every chance I get. They drive smooth with or without pre-drilling and have a good amount of notching at the end for self-tapping. They hold well and strip holes infrequently. Grip-Rite Primeguard Plus #8 x 1-5/8-in Screws

Grip-Rite Primeguard Plus #8 x 1-5/8-in Polymer Deck Screws Come with a T-20 hex head, which works far better than a traditional screw head. Weather resistant means it won’t rust. Easy to install or take back out, but they hold.

Better than four way head screw

Won’t strip as easy and are better in my opinion than phillips head screws
