Would Not Recommend2 weeks ago I bought a 5 pound box of 1 5/8" Deck Plus screws. Went back last night and had to buy Grip Rite box. The star is smaller and your bit barely fits in the head a 1/32 so the screw wobbles all over the place. If you don't have any attachment to help guide the screw it's going to pop off your bit.

Would RecommendThey dig in quick and fasten securely. They allow you to screw in on weird angles easier than regular screws without stripping. They work best in solid wood vice OSB but do work ok with strand board.
