Ratings & Reviews for Greenworks 24-volt 12-in Telescopic Shaft Battery String Trimmer Edger Conversion Capable 2 Ah (Battery Included) (Charger Included)

Versatile and easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Trimmer! Works really well in tight spaces and the pivot head and roller makes edging a breeze.

48v (24v x2) combo kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this combo for my son. I bought a similar 80v combo for myself about 4 months ago and it has been great.

DON'T BUY!!!!

not gonna lie the product is put together very cheap. i bought the 3 piece combo kit went to use it for the first time yesterday and the arms on the lower are broken and won't stay in the correct position bc the little piece that holds it on the side broke doesn't even thread into the piece. broke while pushing it and now just flops everywhere and can't use it. the weed eater doesn't even lock into place and just shuts off every five minutes. very poor product just stick to gas

Convenient 2-in- one tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] **Title:** Versatile and Convenient 2-in-1 Tool This trimmer edger is a time-saver with easy switching between functions. Lightweight and maneuverable, despite minor auto-feed issues.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned many string trimmers over the years gas and electric the greenworks that I bought is the best by far!

Weed eater and blower combo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my weed eater and blower for about 2 years now and live it. I've had zero issues just wish I had 2 batteries. So I just purchased the edger with bigger battery and came with a free drill so thats awesome. Can't wait to get it

Functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my daughter because it does both trim and edge. I have many 24v Greenworks tools and I am very satisfied with their quality.

simple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i wish it came with a strap for trimmer. also noticed full battery didn't last as long as i hoped.

Great for a smaller trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised when I set this thing up and started using it. I figured it would do a decent job for residential trimming, but it’s much more powerful than it looks. I have used it to take down some pretty hefty weeds and it is doing a fantastic job at that as well. I’m impressed.

Bought in 2022 and it still works great in 2025!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this trimmer 3/18/2022 and it is still working great!! We also bought the lawnmower too. We have been happy with all Greenworks products. I only came back to the website to buy more trimmer string.

Horrible

Bought this about two years and I absolutely hate it. The batteries die way to quickly. The leaf blower only lasts 5 minutes, the mower does in 10 to 15 minutes. The only thing I think I like is the weed eater. Not worth the money in my opinion. Thought this would work best for a yard that is small, but nope. If I could return my set I absolutely would.

Easy Ordering

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ordering process was super straightforward and the price was great. Will update once the product comes in!

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought for me on Mother's Day. Love that trimmer spools are available and did buy additional spools for using with trimmer. So far very happy with the trimmer.

Combo Trimmer and Blower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have not used it yet, but I think it will be GREAT!!!!

False Advertising CHARGERS ARE NOT THE SAME

The green charger shown in the pictures is not the charger we received. We were sent a cheaper black charger; we were not pleased with this bait and switch tactic.

Unusable Battery Life

Fresh out of the box not even able to cut my lawn for 15 minutes until it runs out of battery. Just enough to make you mad that you started to begin with and your yard looks worse than if you hadn’t done anything. I can only imagine the 5 Star reviews are bot reviews or people living in Barbie’s dream house sized mowing areas. Truth be told it’s a waste of money and even getting a second set of batteries won’t solve the problem as the charging time VASTLY outweighs the run time. Will be looking ...

Works like a charm, love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simple to put together and use. I love the auto-feed string line. This brings me up to 4 Greenworks battery tools.
