Ratings & Reviews for Greenworks 24-volt 12-in Telescopic Shaft Battery String Trimmer Edger Conversion Capable 2 Ah (Battery Included) (Charger Included)

The batteries don't last!

The batteries suck. Imagine cutting your grass and 25 minutes into it, the battery does and you have to wait 30 minutes for the batteries to cool down. And then almost three hours for it to charge again. And then repeat the process again.

Great Lightweight Trimmer - a few assembly issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I already have a 24V hedge trimmer I bought the string trimmer only for a good price. Assembly was ok except for (1) wasn't sure whether to remove the rubber thingies that evidently just kept the shaft from scraping when disassembled for shipping (you need to do this) and (2) sticking the shaft parts together required a little bit of effort (hint - I used rubber gloves to better grip). Once assembled, it's easy to use - starts easily, b...

No more gas trimmers here.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great trimmer that has plenty of power and isn't hard on batteries. I like being able to swap battery with other tools and plan to build up my collection of the 24v system. I normally like gas powered equipment but there is no denying how easy it is to swap in a battery and go. Having more than one battery means I can have one on charge if needed and don't have to stop longer than a few seconds though I don't have to with this setup, just a lit...

Great trim, nice adjustments

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Satisfied with the trimmer. It has taken awhile to get the adjustments set to fit my stature. Good quality.

Lawn equipment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great, previously I used corded lawn equipment, now no cords!

Great Features and Light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this for my 60th birthday and I couldn't be any happier.. I absolutely love this trimmer. I'm a tiny woman and this fits me super well.

Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well for my lawn, batteries last long and charge fast

Poor string feed

Bought this hoping that the "self feed" vs "bump feed" would work better. Does not. I still have to stop, open the cap, advance the string, etc. The single battery doesn't last through my front and back yard. Tried to purchase a second battery in store but they didn't carry it.

Glad I made the switch to batteries!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was unsure how battery powered lawn tools would be, but I am more than satisfied with the results! My wife loves mowing and now she can whenever she wants because there's no messing around with gas or struggling to start the mower.

The perfect trimmer for my half acre lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light weight and easy to use. The perfect trimmer for my half acre grassed lot. A single line for trimming concerned me , but it does a great job even along the concrete driveway . The automatic line feed works reliably. Battery time is more than enough for driveway , street edge, flower beds around the complete house, and five tree beds.
