Ratings & Reviews for Greenworks 24-volt 10-in Straight Shaft Battery String Trimmer
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the trimmer for its lightweight, ergonomic design and cordless convenience, with many noting it outperforms previous gas models. Reviewers highlight powerful performance on typical yard tasks, quiet operation, and lack of fumes as major improvements. The 2-in-1 trimmer and edger functionality is frequently cited as practical and time-saving. Some report issues with the auto-feed string mechanism, occasional line breakage, and battery life concerns under heavy use, but these drawbacks are far outweighed by overall satisfaction and strong performance.

Versatile trimmer and edger in one tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very versatile trimmer and edger tool makes it easy to switch back-and-forth. I had the first generation of the same tool and liked it so much I decided to try the second generation which is much easier to use.

Not up to the Greenworks standards
Never got it to work correctly. We love our other Greenworks tools, but could never figure out what was wrong with this one. I ordered replacement line, but that didn't help.

A Trooper Of A Tool
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After six years of durable trimming edging and other tasks this great tool is ready for replacement. It has tackled 3 foot tall weeds edged 100 yard of grass each time and put up with my yelling at the neighbors dogs. A real plus in my tool kit. Thanks Greenworks!

Mixed feelings
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that it is lightweight & easy to use but it should work longer on a charge. Each time I used it, it only runs for 10 minutes, then the battery needs recharged again. You can't get much done with only 10 minutes of run time.
