Forgot to take a picture
Would RecommendUsed this during my kitchen remodel in places that the roll out insulation wasn’t ideal. Will definitely use this again
worked great be sure to wear gloves
Would RecommendI love this stuff ,The only problem I have if I don't wear gloves I end up with all over .The product worked as it should creating a tight bond and insulated.
I'm Stuck On It
Would RecommendThe Great Stuff Pro Wall and Floor adhesive is a larger volume can that requires an applicator gun. It is meant for larger jobs comparative to the smaller cans. With that the product goes a long distance and provides a quality adhesion. The product does not provide an instant grip but does set-up rather quickly. As with all Great Stuff products, the use of personal protective equipment is very important. Users should at least wear gloves and eye protection. It is important that when you buy this...
Easy Application Foam Cannister
Would RecommendThe products came in 2 boxes. 1 for the large canister of foam which has a special connector on top. The long Pro dispenser unit arrived in a long box fully assembled. Simple assembly included screwing the foam canister onto the dispenser. You then just squeeze the trigger and foam comes out at the end of the 4’ dispenser. There is a clip for the end which allows you to guide the foam application along a 2x4 piece of lumber so the tip of the dispenser does not skip off to the side. It is very...
Very Sticky Stuff!
Would RecommendGood product. I used it to install hardboard melamine in my garage. Tack time was fast and it set up well. Very strong. The set up time will vary depending on temperature and hunidity. This product must be cleaned up with gun cleaner Great Stuff sells while the glue is still not cured otherwise mechanical removal is your only other option, so wear protective clothing, gloves and goggles or face sheild. This product definately lives up to the Great Stuff reputation, no problem.
Great Adhesive and Insulation
Would RecommendThis adhesive worked well for me. I used it to hang some dry wall. I did not have to use many dry wall screws. Maybe I did not need to do that, but I did so to make sure that the adhesive had time to set up properly. The ease of application was wonderful. I will buy this product for my next project of installing paneling over the new drywall.
Sticky
Would RecommendHi, this review is for the GREAT STUFF PRO Wall & Floor Adhesive can that fits the PRO 14 XL GUN. It works well on plywood, particle board, drywall, and lumber to help bond whatever you are attaching it to. The fast grab/tack is very helpful when putting up drywall sheets, this can is equal to 15 of the nominal tubes traditional adhesive and with the extra long barrel gun make installation much quicker.
Works well with the gun!
Would RecommendThis product works well with the adjustable spray gun. I've used spray insulation before without the gun, and this made the process so much easier. Great product! Would definitely buy again.
Great Adhesive from Great Stuff
Would RecommendEasy to apply when using a dispensing gun (only way you can apply this) and goes on smooth and consistently. Money saver. You save time and money when compared to using smaller tubes. Works great for laying plywood on top of old floors and sets up strong and much more quickly so you can continue working within hours instead of waiting till the next day. Can be used inside or out and even in damp weather. Working time with this is a little short so you need to make sure you are ready t...
Big can
Would RecommendI needed this for a tiny project and boy did it deliver. The can was more than enough for my job and it sprayed the cracks in my attic beautifully. Got the job done in 10 mins. Because I had no idea what I was doing the installation into the gun took much longer than needed but someone with more knowledge shouldnt have any problems
Yet another glue?
Would RecommendIt's hard to give a total review as I can't tell how well it will hold up in a few years. I have had bad experience with glue in the past that dries up and losses its adhesiveness after a few years. The most important with this glue is that you should not use it unless you can ensure the humidity when using it. I made the mistake of trying it a very dry spring day. The time it takes to harden is a lot longer then. Also, make sure you have some type of fixture when you put up a drywall. It takes ...
Professional Product
Would Not RecommendUnless you are a serious DIY'er or getting ready to remodel a house, this would be overkill. I used it for installing a new sub-floor and the product works great! Cures fast and materials stay in place. The can seem to last forever (one can did a 12' X 15' room). The big down side is the cost of the gun which is required and also needing the pressurized can of cleaning fluid. Add those costs and it get expensive for a one time or seldom use. If you are a professional and install floors, drywall,...
Great stuff wall and floor adhesive
Would RecommendI used this product to seal a small hallway at the ceiling and worked well and closed the gap.
Spray Foam Insulation
Would RecommendTakes the place of caulking glue. I use it when I need to glue lumber together and it has a solid hold.
Works well
Would RecommendI used this in the 40 inch spray gun. Attached easily. I followed instructions on can. I adjusted gun for a 1/2 inch bead and got a very precise flow of foam that stuck to the gaps between floorboards and joists in my crawlspace. I sealed gaps where I had an ant problem and around plumbing. I also placed shims between plywood flooring and joists where I had squeaks and then sprayed adhesive foam into the gap made by the shims. I avoided getting foam on shims since I wanted to remove them. After ...
Works well with 40" gun dispenser
Would RecommendUsed this to adhere flooring in a 10" x 12" playhouse. Works well with the 40" dispenser. The floor looks great and helps make the playhouse more like a house rather than a storage shed. Seems like it will hold up well.
Great control
Would RecommendI'm much happier using a foam gun. This foam is easier to control and not over expand. It bonded well, no bad dragging from inconsistent propellant, and is reusable so I am not wasting half a can every time. The price of the gun makes it's worth questionable for uncommon home use, but if you do a decent amount of work, it pays off monetarily and in convenience.
A little goes a long ways
Would RecommendI used the 40 inch reusable gun with this product and was surprised how far a can will go. Makes life a lot easier.
Great as a bonder for wall and floor
Would RecommendThis is used as a bonder for wall and floor. One canister replaces 16 tubes of caulk. Must be used with a separately bought applicator gun.
