Ratings & Reviews for Graco Magnum X5 Electric Stationary Airless Paint Sprayer

Easy to use, a little bit of pain to clean

I purchase this airless sprayer based on the other reviews here and I am happy with it. Set-up is pretty simple. Takes a little work to get it to prime but that could be normal since I only has to do it twice. Using it was really easy. if you have used any other spray equipment before then it's a no brainer. I did a 2 or 3 tests sprays just to get a feel for the gun to figure out what pace i had to keep the gun moving to get nice coverage and but not sags or runs. In two days I painted about 800...

Is easy painting and very good tool I’m very happy

Time saver!

The sprayer is great. Took a little bit to get used to it but once I got the hang of it, it was a snap. Yes, make sure you take the time and clean it right. I bought these because I was painting my entire interior and wanted to save time.

I let you know

Looks nice but Haven’t used it yet but plan to in a couple of weeks

Great Paint Sprayer!

Everything works as expected!

Great esthetics!

I just received my Magnum X5 a few days ago and haven’t had a chance to use it yet but by looking at the unit and seeing the build, I can tell that Graco and I will have a great relationship.

Worked perfectly.

Used this for painting a patch job including new popcorn ceiling. Only way to make sure popcorn stayed on while getting the ceiling to match existing color. Did the job well. Easy. Just know that airless sprayers waste all the paint in the lines (more or less) when cleaning up. Also, taping off areas is a must. Fortunately I knew this and got a beautiful job.

X5 is a great product!

This X5 is a versatile sprayer, perfect for the homeowner. Had a XR 7 for years and used it often. Bought this for my fence staining here in Texas. 300 lineal feet of 6 foot tall wood fence. Sprayed first 2 gallons on Sunday, went very well. Easy to clean up . Will spray 12 gallons total and am glad I purchased this time saver!

Easy to use once setup

Never used one before in my life. This was easy to use and I had no problems using it. I bought it because I’m getting older and every 2-3 years I have to paint deck, shed and gazebo. And stain fence. I did 10 by 20 shed this time and after set up it was great and easy to use. I did watch several YouTube videos and they have great directions with paint sprayer and that is what all videos said. Just make sure to allow time to clean up this takes some time but worth it knowing how great it works ...

Great little sprayer

I bought this smaller sprayer to do smaller jobs where I dont need my large unit. It worked great. I sprayed flat and semi gloss paint with it. The clean up was easy.

Easy Peasy

Easy set- up and worked great for me

Quality control issues, on otherwise great sprayer

It's a nice sprayer, but be sure to test it by priming with a bucket of water first. Go through priming, and spraying with water before ever using paint. The reason I say this is our unit had a piece of metal that kept the inlet ball from sealing. Don't jump right into mineral spirits and oil-based primer, like I tried :) So, when you assemble the X5 and prime for the first time, follow these instructions (provided by Graco support - thanks John!). Simply grab a 2 to 5-gallon bucket of water, p...

Got the job done

Got my job done in 30 mins in and out

Very pleased.

This X5 sprayer did a very good job on my interior doors using an FFLP tip with a rac X head. It produced a very even and consistent finish and wasn’t too loud in my spray booth.

Easy to operate lays down a great coverage of paint easy clean up makes painting slot more enjoyable.
