Like a Champ!

Worked like a champ on the first job. Easy assembly, quick priming, fast paint delivery. Works well with nozzle extensions. Quick and easy to thoroughly clean.

Stain Application

Instructions for set up were clear. Used to apply a water based stain/sealer on rough cut Douglas Fir. Made the process much faster.

Home sprayer

I bought this sprayer to paint my house and it did a wonderful job. I liked how easy it was to clean up! Would recommend this product. If I had a complaint it would be to have the quick start/clean up card laminated so as you read it and are cleaning the sprayer it does not get ruined.

Excellent Results

Excellent sprayer performance while staining My cedar fence. Easy setup and take-down.

Really good sprayer.

Really good sprayer. You can’t go wrong with greyco to be honest, I’ve never tried any other sprayer greyco has always been my number one choice. I’ve used it to spray pva primer on serene texture and trim on a new construction job it did very well. Just make sure wash it up good and store some pump armor in it. It’ll be good to go next time you need it.

Impressive machine

I have had the X5 about a week. I've put about 15 gallons of solid stain through it. I am nothing but impressed about the speed of setup, quality of application, and relatives of cleanup. My first 5 gallons I used the spray gun itself. The second 10, I used a 4-ft extension on the gun. Such a difference, not being too close to the mist out of the tip, and having so much extra reach or I did not need to get a ladder out. Absolutely wonderful machine, producing wonderful results.

Max 5 is perfect for a great job

The max five is an incredible piece of equipment that did a wonderful job and the only problem I have is that I have no more projects to paint at this moment so I cleaned it up and put it away, but I look forward to the day that I can paint something else with this incredible piece of equipment

Fast and Easy method to pain/stain

I recently purchased the Graco Magnum x5 to stain appropriately 140 feet of fencing with two coats. Compared to other methods used in the past this beat them all.

Easier to clean than I anticipated.

I have been waiting for a long time to buy a good sprayer. I’m renovating my home and when I saw the sale I jumped at the chance.

reliable workhorse

We bought this sprayer to replace one that was used for more than 10 years. Excellent sprayer and is a workhorse for our operation.

Awesome product for do it yourself or contractor!

Glad I bought this sprayer works as advertised and with ease!

Easy to use

Happy with the purchase as it makes painting my project cabinets much easier.

Don't do it.

Thought this would speed things along with painting. I painted a bedroom ceiling and 1 1/2 walls then it stopped working. It is not clogged and there's no leaks. It sounds like it's going to explode. I used valspar paint from Lowes. The lable on the paint states it can be applied with a sprayer. Lowe's has a 48hr return policy on sprayers. I bought it last week and this is the first time I have used it. Save your money and just use rollers.

Trigger failure

The spray performance was very good for a couple of hours and then the trigger on the gun quit working and spraying totally stopped. I could not fix it and had to return the equipment.

Would Choose Another Airless Sprayer!

On very first use, sprayer kept clogging using the extra spray tip purchased for solid stain (per the Graco website). After 3 calls to CSRs, each saying stain was too thick for this X5 sprayer (paid $301 plus $33.98 for added tip plus tax), but each had a different suggestion; continued through with the included tip (wider), as set up takes forever and quite a mess, but job which took at least 3x as long to complete as it should have, having to roll out every board due to clumping, and had to st...
