Would Not RecommendI had high expectations before I bought this "security" camera given the brand and the price, however, it did not deliver. We bought 2 outdoor and 1 indoor camera. We've observed in the past couple of weeks that the outdoor cameras keep missing important motions (I have screenshots and clips). I was subscribed under the nest aware plan but because of this, I had to upgrade to the nest aware plus subscription so that I would still see motions that the camera fails to catch and notify in case some...

Good Camera Overall
Would RecommendI'm really enjoying this camera. The price is good, Installation was smooth and the quality is great. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it can't determine between a shadow from an actual person or vehicle driving by. I don't know if that's asking too much but overall a solid 8 out of 10.

Would RecommendI've got 6 of these cameras and I LOVE them. They don't lock up like the Kuna cameras. Plus their clarity is spot on. The Kuna cameras are junky by comparison, but I keep those due to the 'stealthy' -ness because they are hidden in coach lamps.I'd ask Google to make some sort of coach lamp that their cameras could snap into. Would RecommendThe outdoor camera brings me peace of mind. It works well with a wide range of view so that I can see most of my backyard. I know that when I am home or away, I can look to see who is in my backyard. The added bonus is that I can see whether the pool, yard or other services were there while I was out so I can let the dogs out.

Would Not RecommendI have many Nest cams in two different locations. This is the first one that I installed outdoors at my office building. While the camera connects to the Nest system immediately and as expected, the install itself was a pain due to the poorly thought out USB connector that must pass through a 1.5 inch brick wall. Would RecommendGreat quality, clear picture and sound. Easily installed. Make sure to connect to your WiFi before mounting. My husband did not do this but I contacted customer service and they walked me through the steps.
