Simply the best
Would RecommendI’ve had Vivint for 5 years and I’ve tried arlo but nothing beats nest cameras. The video quality is excellent and the customization you can do is fantastic. The installation was extremely simple and the app guides you very well through each step. I’ve had my cameras and doorbell a little over a month now and can’t believe I’ve waiting this long to switch over. Very good product

Would RecommendAs a Google Home user, I already had a Mini, a Mini Hub, several Chromecasts and smart lights. This was very easy to set up and connect. The image quality is great, night image quality is also great. The only feature that is lacking is volume control on the camera's speaker. When I want to talk through the camera, it's practically inaudible outside. But that's not really an important feature so as a camera, this is a perfect choice. Extremely happy with Nest Cam Outdoor
Would RecommendThis is my 2nd Nest Cam Outdoor, but my 7th Nest Cam Overall — guarding 3 different properties. Set up is quick and easy. Instructions super easy to follow. The picture is really clean and field of view just perfect from my POV. I also appreciate the alerts, which can be customized. Even the night view is shockingly clean. Highly recommend

Solid camera with some flaws
Would RecommendHardware is great and the install process is fairly easy. The price is high compared to most other similar cameras. Managing the camera is easy through the app. The person recognition needs some work. I get a lot of false alerts. I also get alerts from outside of my set zones even when the settings are set to not alert me for this. Overall good but with flaws.

Good but misses activity
Would RecommendJust put up 2 weeks ago. Two cameras that back up to each other. Will see activity on one that should continue to the other but doesn't. On the plus side has clear pictures even at night. Setting up zones to block off a highway and used people only. It will still show motion of vehicles. Still learning but like having the cameras and felt Google will keep updating and improving their nest app.

Would RecommendI have a dozen Nest cameras. They are a mix of Indoor, Outdoor and Outdoor IQ. I love them. I like the Nest app and its ease of use. I also like the clip feature, which allows me to save a clip in MP4 format and email it to my family and friends. On top of discouraging thieves, the cameras have captured some interesting video.
