Ratings & Reviews for Google Nest Cam - Indoor Wired Home Security Camera - Smart Security Camera in Snow

Effective Indoor Cam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using nest cams on the exterior of our home for several years, but aside from one plug-in cam this is our first indoor Nest cam. My husband was able to install it relatively easily and I love the convenience of being able to check on the interior of my home with the app. Overall, I highly recommend this indoor wired Nest cam.

Great Plug&Play

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera was easy to install and has great visual quality. The overall appearance is very modern and blended well with our decor. We primarily wanted this camera to watch the dogs while we are out for a bit and when needed, we even got the kids attention by using the voice/speaker capabilities. It wasn't as clear as we needed, but did get the job done! Installation was easy using the QR code, however the app was a little hard to navigate...

Useful at a job site

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a sample. Being a contractor I set it up on a job site and after some adjustments it worked great. I can tell who shows up and at what time in the mornings. You need to have a good signal from your Wifi. Easy to install. It is a rugged piece, got knocked over a few times and can handle it. I am going to get a few more and use them on job sites.

Great for Peace of Mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little camera feels well-made. It installs easily, though we had to install the Google Home app to use it as it doesn’t work with the Nest app. The camera captures motion and starts recording when it sees it, and so far has done well. We’ve had it installed for a few weeks. Night vision is pretty good as well. It is facial recognition, which works great except that it thinks my daughter is me - we do look quite alike, so no points docked t...

Great security tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great addition to the other Nest products I currently own. The installation is super easy and it was up and running in no time. It's nice having an added sense of security when I'm away from home. As a bonus I can say hi to my dog when I'm away.

Buggy setup limits a possibly good device.

Buggy setup. I'm tech savvy and it was just wasting my time. By now these things should be simple to setup. Too bad.

Nest indoor camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nest indoor camera is a great addition to my security system! The video picture is great and it is easy to set up. I placed it in the living area for monitoring. It’s great for watching our small children! I would recommend this product to everyone!

Good Camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation of the camera was very simple and easy. The camera appears to have very nice quality lenses and the image you get is very clear both during the day and night. The camera has a nice wide angle of view so could easily cover a full room. I like how you can setup activity zones and tie them to notifications and events. I can access my camera at anytime through my google app if I want to see a live picture. Sound quality is pretty nice ...

Cute Web Cam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Google Nest Cam for indoor use is cute. I like how it looks. I don't like that you have to have a paid subscription to have more than 3 hours of video saved. I like that I can watch my dog when we weren't home. The video quality wasn't the best but it wasn't horrible.

Great but not HomeKit compatible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great, video is very clear and microphone pick up everything. It would be nice if the camera could rotate on its own, but that’s asking a bit much I suppose. Only complaint is that I can’t use it with the apple home app.

Amazing Indoor Camera!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many brands of cameras but none can match the features and quality of Google Nest. It is packed with many useful features. This Google nest indoor camera performs very well and the initial setup and installation is super easy and quick.Just download the Google home app,add the camera using set up device option, scan the QR code ,just enter your Wifi information and setup complete.First of all I loved the sleek design of this camera,...

Don't work with Nest application

This new Nest camera only works with Google Home, it doesn't work with the Nest app. I will be returning the 4 cameras I bought because Google Home is a horrible app and a lot of the features of the Nest app are not available. It is very misleading to call it a Nest camera.

Great Camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled with my Nest Cam. I have the outdoor wireless camera and this indoor, wired one is just as good. The picture looks incredible. HD, just as if I was viewing it on my TV. It was out of the box and working within five minutes. Such a simple design and easy to use.

Nice Camera from the stable of Google

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Google “Nest cam wired” is a welcome addition to the existing list of Google cameras although it’s not as fancy as some other google products. The setup is pretty easy and very intuitive. Although you can mount the camera, right now we have kept it at a strategic place so that it covers a good viewing area. The camera lens are pretty good and the image quality is also quite good although not as sharp as I would have loved but still far bett...

Great camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thinnest camera integrated well with our current Google home products. We put the camera in our basement so we could keep an eye on our kiddos when they are down there. So easy to open the video on my phone. Love all the Google home products. Easy to install and set up!

Nice cam!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this cam to use in our detached garage and it works great. Nice, clear picture. No connection or installation issues and was very easy to set up. Covers the large area great. Pairs with Google and is easy to access on your mobile.

Great little camera all the way around

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wired Google - Nest cam is just a really solid product all the way around. It’s clean and well built, sturdy and functional. The base is heavy and strong and allows the camera to be rotated into pretty much any position you need it. It is able to be wall-mounted easily with two screws and minimal effort. The video quality is very good (it’s not premium 4K quality like your TV, but it’s 1080p which is perfectly fine for it’s purpose) and I ...

Great security camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera provides me with the ability to see in my workshop to see who and what takes place in my workshop when i'm not there. Would prefer it to be wireless for added connivence in installing to access power. Picture is flawless, great size, blends right in with my white walls.

Great Camera With a Solid App.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Google's smart home integration has been my platform of choice, so the quick and seamless integration of this camera has been a breeze. Video quality is great both in well lit situations and when the IR kicks on at night. The audio it records is clean and clear which makes it easy to communicate using the microphone. Unlike some of the other cameras I have tried, 2-way talking is no problem at all. Event notifications and zone monitoring wo...

Sharp Image

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my nest camera to keep a eye on my house when I’m gone and also as a way to check in on my 5 month old puppy. The camera works great and is easy to install and set up. I decided not to attach it to the wall at this time and place it on my hutch. Set up took me less than 5 mins. The instructions included are simple and user friendly following the app. I have a google tv so I was able to add the camera into my network. Picture ...
