Adapter kit can be an issue
Would RecommendAdapter kit can be an issue. My generator, the Predator 9000 has framing that is too hard for the supplied hardware to use. The sheet metal screws strip out and are damaged without any thread engagement. I tried to drill through the frame for a thru-hole alternative, but my drill bits could not penetrate the opposite side of the framing member. My options at this point are to tap the hole and change hardware to less coarse thread pitch, or retry thru-hole drilling with a carbide or diamond bi...

Tent for champion 11000 watt Inverter generator
Would RecommendHi! I'm writing this review for a Gentent Direct Connect Kit that I bought for my Champion 11000 watt generator (201424). I installed it and I think it's going to be very efficient. The only downside is that the exhaust pipe is positioned closer to the top of the generator, so I had to install it higher than the instructions in the manual. I had to buy another transparent curtain that needs to be installed along with the one that comes with the kit to cover the main panel. The tent size is good,...

Would RecommendPurchased Jan. 20, 2026 and installed the Gentent Universal kit yesterday. Pretty straightforward but wasn't a fan of having to drill into the square open frame of my Duromax 15000W HX+ The videos showing the installed sequence were very helpful. I'll have a better feel for my satisfaction level with the next storm. I opted for the made in USA with the longer warranty. Id suggest that GenTent design and use stronger claming hardware and something more durable than elastic straps for securing ...
