About time!

Became tired of outages, not only in the Summer during thunderstorm season, but we started seeing them in the wintertime too. Power grid in my area is not the greatest, and only getting worse it seems.

As advertised

Have yet to use the product for longer then 10 min however when the power did go out, kicked on with no issue. I am satisfied.

Since the purchase of generator it has only run for about an hour when public service was working on their lines. So I don't have much of a reference.

18kw Generac Generator

I got my Generac Generator last month and have had to use it yet. It has done it weekly exercise flawlessly. I can’t praise K & L Electric enough. The do exceptional high quality work.

Does the job well!

I have had it for a year now, and of course there has not been a power outage since the installation. However I did decide to run a simulation of an outage and was very happy with the results. My only issue is the description provided on Generac’s website, makes it sound like the noise level is just above the level of an air conditioner. If I had an air conditioner that loud, I would be worried!!

Had the generator for a year. Have not had to use it. We have not had a power outage. Wish some of the features on the app were free.

Dependable power when needed

We recently had our Generac installed and feel confident it will get us through stormy times and emergency situations.

Reliability and functionality

Unit was purchased in May of 2025. Numerous power outages in our have occurred. The unit enages and supports the critical components in the house (sump pump, furnace etc.)

26 kW backup generator

Again, my problem is with the electric company that installed it rather than the product itself. But unfortunately, I have not had the support that I would have requested. I.e. asking for a quote for the extended warranty never getting one if Generac can offer that to me now I would be receptive.

Great product

Bought this generator about 6 weeks ago. The install was completed without any issues or concerns. Final connection was completed after gas company upgraded the meter. We had a power outage about 2 weeks after the install and never noticed the power going out. The generator started so fast there was never a flicker of the lights.

Generator is 2 months old, have experienced 1 outage so far and the generator performed as expected, however I am concerned about winter operation ability.
