Aesthetically pleasing

I installed the unit myself completed the install at the end of August 2026. To date we have not had to rely on it for power but I’m confident in the fact it will perform as intended

Peace of mind when storms come

Shumake Electric did a great job installing the Generac Generator. They made owning a whole home generator affordable. I now have peace of mind when storms come and knock out the electricity. I know with the generator I won't lose everything in my refrigerator if I have to go a few days without the city's electricity.

Replaced my old generator with a Generac

I had to replace my older Lennox generator about 2 months ago due to a failed voltage regulator. I am happy with the new General.

Great system with ATS

Read and learn how to install, saved me $15000+ on installation. The ATS and generator connections are easy and takes time, but instructions are good and easy to use. Generator exercises as stated and in 10 seconds you have power.

Great Beginning

Installed nearly a month ago. It kicked in once and tests itself on schedule. Very happy to have this in case of a power outage lasting more than a few hours - we had one a month ago due to storms, and it lasted two days for us and 10 days for several NIPSCO customers. It's great to monitor the Generac remotely using the App and know whether it is testing itself or providing backup power during an outage. It is a bit noisy when it runs. Let's see how it performs over the years.

An excellent all-in-one install by Generac & GSC

Clean install and break-in period of 18 kW optional-standby generator. and buried propane tank I'm counting on Generac and Generator Supercenter to continue their excellent performance. I was looking for an all-in-one, comprehensive no-finger-pointing-between-trades solution that to-date Generac and Generator Supercenter have delivered excellently.

The best thing since sliced bread!

I have had my standby generator for a little over one year. This past year has seen some very bad weather so the generator came in handy when I lost power 3 times. The unit started up quickly with no inconvenience. I would recommend a Generac generator to everyone.

Was not what I expected

The new generators are junk because they have too many sensors and computers in it where it won't start. My parents have the old Generac generator and they absolutely love it it's the new ones that are junk.
