Defective Unit - not been replaced after 2 months

Product is defective and was supposed to be completely replaced - Case # 80835212 has been escalated, and I was supposed to be contacted directly by Generac regarding the new unit replacement. No one has contacted me to date.

Overall a good standby generator

overall a good standby generator. They could work on revising their upsell on notifications on generator going online. You currently only get that service for the first year. Then you have to pay for it. After $11K I think that should always be standard.

Runs the whole house

Purchased a month ago. Fortunately, unfortunately I have not had to use it other than the test once a week. I wish it did not have to be so loud when it runs.

I replaced the unit that failed during the hurricane. It was 15 plus years old.

Peace of mind

Love the backup Generator. It looks very nice and no longer worry about power outages and throwing food away. I wish it was quieter.

I bought this generator, for when im not home and not having to worry about frozen pipes or sump pump not work because of a power outage.

Good machine

Bought it a couple of years ago. I love it. gives me piece of mind during inclement weather and storms. I really like the connivence of auto transfer and standby, no dragging cords or hauling fuel. This day and time everybody needs a back up generator.

NOT HAPPY CONSUMER!!

I bought the 22Kw air-cooled propane unit after 14 years my previous Generac 20Kw air-cooled propane generator died. As an owner, I am NOT happy about not having the choice of how long to exercise the generator because someone in Generac decided I didn’t need the option of making that decision on a generator that I purchased from your company. This is a VERY BAD business decision on your part. As a consumer, those decisions should be left up to the owner, NOT someone in your office.

Unit seems great, but WIFI is a bit hinky!

Wifi reception is poor. Lots of drops. Don't know if it needs more antennae or it doesn't try to disconnect. I suspect there was a module issue but it would have cost me to have someone out. Oughtn't they be able to run diagnostics on the module?
