The refrigerator is only a month old but so far it is great.

HUMMING NOISE

I have had this refrigerator since March 6th and the repairman has been here three times. There is a hum every so often and they cannot seem to figure out what it is. Last time he was here he put in a new fan, but that did not resolve the problem. I hope it is not something that will go wrong after the end the warranty period. Poor construction

Brand new and the door gasket is falling off every time you open the doors.

So far—so good!

This is replacement refrigerator that replaced my identical model that I was 1 1/2 years old & quit working. So therefore, this same model is working fine so far—installed in February 2026.

Serious service issues within 3 years of new

Fridge stopped working within a couple years of new; multiple parts needing to be replaced and when one part is replaced another one “blows” Taking weeks to get it back to working and costing more to fix vs replace. Very disappointed.

Ice maker quit working

Icemaker quit working. Part # wr02x13771 fill tube is what I need in order to fix it. Why did GE discontinue this part? This part is unavailable within 5 years of manufacturing and is a common part that fails? Crazy! Now I can’t fix ice maker. So I have to live with no ice or buy a new fridge. Have had problems with all my GE appliances purchased around 5 years ago. Won’t ever buy GE again.

Disappointed

Disappointed in the lost space due to the water dispenser. The vegetable/fruit and deli drawers are very short due to the water lines in the back of fridge. Not very big inside. The freezer is cheaply made

A good choice

We love the design and the Capacity is perfect for 2 people. Great Freezer area. I can’t say anything about the energy, because it’s too new.

Garbage product and zero costumer support

GE IS THE WORST , fridge is less than a year old and broken. They refused to fix or replace AND VOIDED our warranty without notifying us. Do yourself a favor purchase elsewhere. It isn’t worth the headache

Hunk of Junk

This fridge has been a hunk of junk since we bought it. Thankfully we purchased a warranty. The compressors had to be replaced within a year of purchase. We woke up this morning and the fridge is not cooling. It’s 7 years old. Time for a new fridge and it definitely won’t be a GE.

Built to break

Purchased this refrigerator in late 2024 and settled into our new house in early 2025 with it running as it should. By Thanksgiving the freezer stopped cooling and soon after the fridge stopped working as if designed to break down immediately following the 1 year warranty. A service technician devoted 2 hours to troubleshooting and determined a $700 fix might solve the problem. If this appliance could be granted zero stars it would. Great size

It's wasy to clean and keeps the food fresh. While we would have liked an external water dispenser, having it inside the fridge hasn't been an issue. It’s a lemon

It was delivered and installed on 12-17-25 and never cooled to manufactures settings😡 it is now 4 days later and still not working! Now I have to wait until the 29th for a replacement! Not happy!

One Major Drawback

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The french doors are too hard to close. If you keep the alarm on it is constantly going off. Maybe the left door with flap more difficult but right door closes with no push back.

Good unit

I just don’t know why I have to contact you folks or why the water filter bypass plug wasn’t in a packaging or with the refrigerator since that that’s supposed to be with it by law as you can’t make someone buy filters to be able to use their refrigerator so the bypass water filter plug should’ve been with the unit and it was not

Overall good refrigerator

First and last appliance purchase from Lowes

Just had a GE Profile Refrigerator delivered missing the water filter bypass valve and ice scoop. Small items, but non the less, necessary. We immediately contacted Lowes to see if we could pick them up from our local store only to be told that after waiting for 2 weeks for deliver to begin with, that they'd only be able to help by doing a return, picking up the item, and redelivering- with a $50 credit for our "inconvenience" Completely ridiculous.

Fridge

Horrible Refrigerator

This refrigerator does not work as documented or as sold. The refrigerators internal temperature display does not work and it struggles to get to GE's recommended temperature setting in the refrigerator department. After being closed all night long and set at 34, it's luck to get to about 40 degrees - verified by a digital and an analog thermometer.
