Would Not RecommendNone of the moisture sensors seem to work. Dryer is three months old. Dryer shuts off when clothes and towels are still super wet. Only timed dry works. Had a warranty call and GE was no help stating the dryer is working like it should. Example today: running a load of towels on hot. Now restarting for fourth time. Not sure that’s how the engineers designed it.

Worked for less than 2 years
Would Not RecommendWe have had this dryer for less than 2 years. Less than 2 years and the control panel has gone out. It's an expensive fix so now we stuck with looking for a new dryer. 2 years is not worth the money for this dryer. Don't waste your money on this one, it won't last.

It works fine
Would RecommendWe've had this dryer over a month. It took a bit of trial and error to find a setting that completely dries the clothes. I find that using the timed dry mode works best. It did start squeaking a little a couple days ago but it has stopped. I think it might have been the belt but apparently it resolved the issue on it's own.

Would RecommendPurchased a GE Profile dryer 17 years ago. Never had a problem with it. Only purchased new one to match the washer.

5 maintenance issues
We have had it for a year with 5 maintenance issues, 2 electric panel, the belt completely broke, squeaking constantly, door not shutting properly, burning smell. Dryer takes 3 hours to dry full size comforter, dryer doesn’t dry well have to use timed dry. Costumer service was helpful on scheduling appointments for third party repairs.

Would Not RecommendWould not recommend. The “sensing” leaves clothes damp after a dry cycle, have to put on dryer numerous times to ensure fully dry. Squeaky ans noisy as well.

Want to exchange dryer
Would Not RecommendThe washer works great but the dryer is terrible. I’ve had it since April of this year and it already stopped heating. Repair technician came out and said it was my thermostat. Tried to dry clothes and the dryer still was not heating up. Went to troubleshoot it and now my dryer won’t cut on. Never had issues with any other dryer like this one and honestly just want to trade it at this point.
