Watch out

If you like to use a stovetop to heat food, this is not the product for you. This product never really worked out of the box. After three weeks and failure of 4 burners, I filed a warranty claim. An appliance tech suggested two new circuit boards might solve the issues and they take 'up to 10 business days to arrive.' I'm 13 business days out and have not heard about any parts.

Efficient and responsive cooktop!

Overall I really like this cooktop. It heats quickly and precisely, and I find the touch pads to be very responsive. I also really like the timer feature. It does make a bit of a whining noise when multiple burners are in use which can be a little annoying. I have not used the bridge feature yet for the 2 left burners. If I could rate a 4.5 I would, with the .5 deduction for the whining noise.

This product is greatly improved over my last GE Cook Top. It exceeds my expectations and is of great quality and value. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Easy to use and functionality is great

I am amazed at the speed with which this stovetop heats up. This is my first induction cooktop and I thought "Where has this been al my life!" The controls are very easy to use and the size of the eyes is perfect. This one is easier to clean than my last profile cooktop. PERFECTION!

Nice upgrade

We had issues with our kitchen remodel and a different GE cooktop, so GE replaced it with this version, which was more expensive. Although some of our pots/pans don't work with the convection magnets, those that do work VERY well, and heating time is super quick! I like the look of this cooktop more than the cheaper one as well. The wifi connection is kind of pointless from what I can tell. I went with this cooktop because it was highly rated and because my previous GE Profile cooktop lasted forever. It is great looking and performs as promised.

I Love My Induction Cooktop

I absolutely love my cooktop! My first one I purchased in 2009 and it lasted until 2023 when one of the motherboards went out. Fixing it was going to cost more than a new one. So out with the old and in with the new one. I love how efficient and easy this cooktop is to use plus it's easy to clean. It doesn't heat up my kitchen like the old coil burners did. Love this cooktop!

Better than any electric OR gas stoves I’ve used! Love the quick heat; could use a lower heat. Has maintain its beauty for over 3 years now

Controls are very well thought out.

It is easier to use than the Miele cook top we had before if maybe a touch less powerful. But for price a really good tradeoff. Fingers crossed that it doesn't scratch like some of the other reviewer's mentioned. We will be very careful of sliding cast iron across the surface.

Does the Job

It does the job but not as good as the KichenAid we replaced. Our KitchenAid induction cooktop died after about 10 years. The replacement would not fi in the countertop space since we had a down draft fan behind it. With widening the hole we were able to make the GE work. PROS: Analog style touch controls, ability to combine 2 burners into 1 large burner, Wi-Fi (though we don't use it), Consistent heating (once it warms up) CONS: No beveled edge, no "Pulse" or Turbo heat for fast heating

Steady

The way this stove holds a constant temperature is amazing to me. The water boils, you add the pasta, get it boiling the way you want, and it stays there. Even. Perfect. Not flaring hot and relaxing down, just even. I Love that most of all.

Just love it

All GE Profile appliances are exceptional. I highly recommend this cook top for its precision, WI-Fi and Bluetooth controls.

Looks nice . Just haven't been able to use it .

I haven't used the stove yet . Can't figure out how to get it to turn on correctly n stay on . We purchased a home that had this cook top . We are still figuring out things since this is a scond home. Not sure that we will use it much and may take it out n buy another kind that isn't blue tooth .

Great Customer Service

My online order resulted in receiving the wrong item, because the distant warehouse was out of the ordered item. However, when I contacted Ed at my Columbia, MO Lowe’s, he immediately got the problem solved. He arranged to have a nearby warehouse deliver my item and had it installed immediately. Next time I will shop at my local Lowe’s.

Do not purchase this product

The induction assembly and induction control tray have both gone out 2 times in less than 1.5 years. The parts are over 1000 dollars. The first time it went out the stovetop was under warranty as it happened months into using it. Now, a half year after it was "fixed" last the same parts are in need of replacing. I can only guess that there is something else going on with this item or it is horribly built.
