I love everything about this refrigerator so far. It’s spacious, looks great and you can’t make a fingerprint, which is why I usually don’t buy anything stainless.

Motor makes annoying high pitched pulsating sound, ice dispenser sends tiny chips of ice flying around, dispenser makes loud clacking sound after dispensing. Drawers on left door are almost totally unusable due to being so narrow. I should have checked door better.

DO NOT BUY, TRUST ME!

I am extremely disappointed with my GE refrigerator. I have owned it for less than two years, and it has already broken down five times. A refrigerator that is supposed to be a reliable major appliance should not require this many repairs in such a short period of time. GE Refrigerator

I purchased a new refrigerator from Lowes the end of June this year. Today id the 17th of August and the refrigerator is has quit working. The freezer does not freeze at all. I got a repairman to come out from GE. They say it needs a new compressor plus other parts. Lowes will not take it back or replace it. GE will not replace it. They will only repair it. To be able to return it to Lowes, I would have had to return it within 48 hours of delivery. Now I have to wait to have my NEW refrigerator ...

Need replacement

We are having problems from day one. The freezer is not freezing meat etc at 0F (-17 C) we had to throw lot of meet. The water is not chilled at 34 F. Need immediate replacement as it was installed about 2 months ago

I replaced an LG ( do not buy LG ever) with a similar set up. Ice in the door. I do not like that you can not see how much ice is the door just by opening the lever which is super flimsy! Once you get that open the ice is in a plastic reservoir (not clear) so you have to fumble around to remove it to see how much ice is inside ( no stars for this) ! Broke on day 1, repairs ineffective, now stuck

Refrigerator froze food 4 times in the first 2 weeks of ownership. Ran lound and irregularly from day one. 4 service calls in first 2 months: stopped food from freezing and improved sound, but still runs at unacceptable noise levels with irregular sounds. Service tech said the unit was sold to us with a faulty control board that was flagged in their system. Do not get this fridge - it is a waste of money. Looks good, but performance is awful.

Needed a refrigerator that could give me more space for food and this met my standards. I also love the slickness and look of it.

Dead at 2 years old

Purchased this exact fridge in May 2024. No issue with it until this past week. Ice machine stopped working and freezer stopped being freezing, only chilled. Repair technician came and looked at it. Told me this happens alot with GE and this model in particular. The compressor failed. At 2 years of use with proper filter changes and cleanings.
