Waiting for repair

Excited about the looks of both inside and out of the product. Extremely quiet. Unfortunate the dishwasher does not shut off at the end of the cycle (clean light is on and attempts to restart). Since the defect is in the control panel, I need a new one and that may not be available for months to indefinitely. Any assistance the company can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Questionable parts and lifespan

Heating element has gone out less than 2 years after brand new install. Now unable to properly clean and dry.

Leaky Dishwasher

We love the dishwasher because it cleans great and is very quiet. However, I gave it one start because it leaks and it has been serviced twice.

Dishwasher needs improvments

We replaced our 1 year old Kitchenaid dishwasher with this GE model. The Kitchenaid had a better deeper third rack and the racks moved in and out smoother due to being on wheels.

defective parts on lower rack

the bottom rack will not roll correctly and the clips for wheels always fall off

Not as nice as previous KitchenAid

We bought this GE dishwasher to replace a 1 year old KitchenAid unit which leaked. I have two complaints about the GE vs the KitchenAid. First, the third rack in the KitchenAid was much taller allowing bigger items to be put there. Also, the racks in the KitchenAid moved in and out MUCH smoother with wheels vs the GE with sliders.

Not this dishwasher!

Does not clean. Have to hand wash cups everytime! Always leave a film on dishes. Worse dishwasher we have ever had.

GE Doesn't care

It doesn't always clean the dishes properly, and i have to clean food off the bottom sometimes. Even though they say they have the best macerator, and when you pull the bottom out, it doesn't stay on the track, so you have to stop it from dumping your dishes. You'd think for the price, it would be amazing, but it's made vary cheaply. The spray arms are 100% cheap plastic that just broke off on me and when I called to get a replacement part they said they have to charge me and I said I'll ever b...

Goes out in less than a year

Less than a year in, dishwasher no longer heats. Inside molded and gross before we could diagnose.

Racks are terrible, old one cleaned better.

Bought two years ago. First, Our old dishwasher was 15 years old when it died, and I think it got the dishes cleaner. I miss having a rinse only cycle. Also it has poorly designed racks and spacing. The racks in this thing are the worst There is a flat silverware tray above the height adjustable top dish rack that just needs to go away. Junk

Plastic pieces falling off. Silver trim piece around control panel has already come loose on one side. Bottom rack wheels falling off repeatedly. One fell off during a wash cycle and melted on the heating element. So disappointed with this dishwasher.

Top Rack

I bought this dishwasher 2 yrs ago and pleased with operation and effectiveness. The reason for the low score is the top rack slide rails have fallen off the inside of the tub with no way to fix. I understand things break but this is unrepairable. The way the rails attach to the tub is a poor design and will fail over time.

Dishwasher 2024

So far so good. Stainless steel interior makes the dishwasher look sharp. Inside racks could be a bit stronger but seems like a decent unit.

Mediocre at best - Very long wash cycle

This is a decent dishwasher for an average user. But it takes forever to run a normal cycle (hours). It does not release or dissolve the detergent pod every time. It also leaves residue on the dishes. But the worst thing about it is the long cycle time to complete washing a basic load.

Very quiet dishwasher

We had to purchase this to replace a two year old Bosch and so far we are very pleased with this dishwasher (only had for two weeks). The bottle washer function is very cool and the rack layout is preferred over the Bosch. The dishes are clean and with the right setting, are dry.
