Great price and easy to install

I had two ballasts fail right before my family was supposed to visit for the holidays. I was able to purchase two of these ballasts on the internet, with pick up at the local Lowe's. They are the correct product, they are a great price (when compared with similar products at competing stores), and they were easy to install. Good ballast for the money

This ballast is as good as pretty much all the other brands I've used and run into. the body is constructed well, wires are long enough and it's the same standardized size as other T8 ballasts.

Easy install.

A phillps screwdriver, a wire stripper, half a dozen small wire nuts and 20 minutes of work later I have a working light fixture in my kitchen. First flourescent balast that I have replaced and it definitely was not rocket scoence.

Lowes Macedon, NY wrong

I visited Lowe's in Macedon today only to find they really didn't have this ballast, in fact they had a hard time finding any lighting ballast. I was told by the sales associate for the electrical area, nobody uses those any more, they buy LED fixtures? So he essentially called me, the customer a nobody! Check the other big box store with the orange sign. They have these and several ballast in stock.

Ballast replacements

Ballasts were easy to find. It was a little difficult to tell which ones to get to replace my bad ones, but an employee helped me out. They were a little more expensive than I expected they would be

Direct replacement for my old ballast, fit perfect

Easy to install, fit perfectly as a replacement for my old ballast. The wiring supplied was more than adequate for my connection requirements, worked fine when power was applied, no issues at all. Hopefully it will last for at least five years. Will update this review in a year with the reliability of this product.

Perfect

Fixed my 4 bulb fixture. Color coded wires matched up exactly.Fit the original mount. It would be hard to wire it wrong. It can't get any easier!

GE 4-Bulb T8 Replacement Ballast.

Excellent product, nice slim-line form factor, factory mounting lined right up, and old screws were reusable. Flying leads were solid 18 Gauge conductors with proper colors making installation a breeze, and ample length which allowed for proper wire management. The quick start ballast lit all the Bulbs immediately!

4 bulb ballast

after a year and a half, i finally broke down and bought this ballast. i have 5 other lights like this one so i was not in a hurry. it was actually cheaper than the ones i look at a year ago. hook up quickly as i have had it apart for a year and a half.

this product is easy to install, I like the weight of it.

Ballast Replacement

I have purchased several of these over the last 3 years. Replacing old ballast one at a time. I have not had any problems using these as a replacement. Work well, would not hesitate to purchase again.
