Perfect for me

I used this to replace the 2 old heavy ballasts (one leaked), added 4 new LED bulbs, and it is perfect. The wiring schematic is small and on the ballast, so I scanned and printed it to look at on the ladder. Took me about an hour.

Worked for LED upgrade

New LED tubes would not work in my old 4-tube fluorescent light fixture. I used this unit to replace the 2 old ballasts that were in it. Worked great.

4 bulb T8 ballast

Used this to convert T12 4 bulb fluorescent fixture to T8 4 bulb LED fixture. Wattage went from 160 to 56 Watts with more light output than previous bulbs. Great improvement, big energy savings.

Light we purchased about 5 years ago, ballast went out this worked good . Probably will have to buy 3 more later because we have 4 total of these lights and ballast will probably go out on them also.

Works

This project was easier than expected. I marked the inside of the fixture with color codes so I didn't mix anything up before taking the old ballast out. Once it was hooked up the lights worked just fine. Be sure to have a pin handy for getting the old ballast wires out.

Just stepping up

Instead of Flo bulbs I installed the 4 LED bulbs works great and the light,Fantastic. These stay on all day except for the morn hrs. most of the year. Time is the best review, we will see!

It really is istant on.

I had to replace a ballast in my 4 lamp light. I used the Osram commercial grade, $30.00 one. It lasted about a month. I replaced it with the same. That one lasted about 3 months. By the way, they each took a second to come on. I just replaced the ballast again with the GE residential grade, only $20.00. It really is instant on. Now to see how long it lasts.

Works perfect with T8 LED Bulbs

I replaced my T8 bulbs in my old lights with Utilitech LED ones, but they were very dim due to the old ballasts. Went ahead and upgraded the ballasts with this one and WOW! Perfectly bright in my garage and super quiet ballasts too.

The installation was streamly easy. The wires were plenty long enough. Less than 10 minutes a light fixture to remove and replace.

Hums like a magnetic ballast

It works, but hums like an old magnetic ballast. Why do I have to give a star???

I bought this as a replacement for the Keystone ballast that died in my kitchen fixture due to a short. It's exactly the same size and fit perfectly. The yellow wires exit the ballast on the opposite end vs the Keystone but there's plenty of wiring supplied to make up the distance.

So Far So Good

This was an easy swap for the original ballast. I've only had it installed for a couple of weeks now but it seems to be functioning as advertised. The real test is just to see how long it lasts. I'll update this review if conditions change.

good replacement

All tubes failed at once. Conclusion was a failed ballast. Replaced with new ballast from Lowes and the problem was solved. Now the fixture is new again. Doing the job myself saved Money and time as compared to calling an electrician.
