Ratings & Reviews for GE 40 -Watt EQ G25 Soft white Medium screw base E26 Dimmable LED Decorative Light Bulb 4 -Pack

Great bulbs

these were a great price and the light is just right for a bath vanity light.

LED vanity bulbs

The halogen vanity bulbs I bought 5-6 years ago for my bathrooms (replacement after incandescent bulbs essentially banned)are starting to "blow out" and so went looking for replacements. Found these at Lowes and purchased, the instant on/bright beats the halogen hands down. My wife kept BR lights on because of the warm up time to get bright light, so she is happier and I hope more likely to turn them off. Will need to wait and see about "life" of bulb.

LED Lights Significantly Better Than CFL Bulbs

Replaced the CFL bulbs in the bathroom fixture with these fantastic LED bulbs. The brightness and light color is much better than the CFL bulbs they replaced, all while using less electricity. Added a dimmer switch to make it easier on the eyes when using the bathroom at night. It even makes for a nice bathroom night light when they are turned way down, if desired.

Let there be light

The led bulbs looked and functioned great - and at a good value

Specialty bulb with so-so life.

I have two fixtures in which I use these bulbs. The life ranges from a few weeks to over a year.

Meets lighting needs

Good product with estimated life expectancy that meets our bathroom lighting needs.

Excessive stamp

Ok these are pretty bright, which I like. Unfortunately at the end is a bright goldfish color stamp. Other brands have the ratings marked discretely around the neck where it is not obvious. These had that ruining the effect

Took back first box

One bulb of 4 didn’t work. Had to make second trip to Lowe’s

Horrible logo on the bulb

The ugly logo on this bulb ruins it.

Flickers

These bulbs flicker at times when there is an electrical load somehwere else in the house (e.g. dryer is running). Very annoying and I will be replacing these.

Gadget guy

I replaced a fluorescent lighting bulb that failed. That bulb took 3 minutes to reach maximum lighting with a light that is yellowish. This LED bulb has twice the brightness, longer life, pleasing color and instant on.

Oh, that label!

The bulbs themselves seem fine, but why they decided to print a label clearly-visible right on top of the globe is beyond me. Completely unusable where the bulbs are exposed, e.g., in a vanity. Other brands do this too (but not Kichler). As others have pointed out, the label can be removed with solvents (I used mineral spirits). But I'd just as soon not have to go through the hassle every time I want to change a bulb!

Great Bulb

We really liked that unlike most LED bulbs, this is not "cool blue" in color. It has a nice warm glow and 5 of these lights together in our bathroom, make the space feel comfortable and not "live" as in other LED's we've purchased. Hope they come in other bulb sizes so we can replace all of our bulbs around the house!
