I used this tool to attempt to a near stripped bolt attached to my car's rotor. The Gator-Grip formed around the bolt tightly (17mm). After applying torch it slipped off and pieces of metal fell out of the Gator-Grip. If I locate all the pieces, I may later try to put them back into the socket. After that fail, I moved onto other repair options. Not worth the $$. They should post the torch limit like 15 psi. Otherwise it will end w/ a catastrophic fail. I can no longer use this tool unle...

Would RecommendI LOVE this thing. I've bought one for all of my many sons and they love it. It can grab things that are ungrabbable or even unreachable with a normal wrench adaptor. I have used it on screws that are stripped. Would never be without one.

Would Not RecommendIt doesn't grip well on bolt heads or nuts that have more than 1/4in height. I ended up rounding off a rusty suspension bolt with it that was barely over 3/8in. When I profile it in reference to the height of the bolt head or nut.
