Would RecommendThis thing does a great job at stripping paint and has a good life span. I stripped all the paint from a 55 gallon metal drum with one of these. It was just about gone after doing so.

Best Paint Removal Option
Would RecommendI used these to smooth out peeling paint after pressure washing and scraping my siding. It works so much better than a flap disc or grinding wheel because it is fairly gentle on the wood, so you don't end up with huge dips and waves in the siding. I bought a craftsman 4.5" trigger handle grinder at the same time, and they paired nicely, although I did have to remove the guard. The hub is very deep on these strip discs, so I also had to use an offset spanner from another grinder I own to get down...

Would Not RecommendI bought one of these and it worked great. Took the paint off 3/4 of the deck i was stripping. Went to buy another to finish the job and it FELL APART in like 5 min? Seems to be a quality control issue? Had to go back to the store to find a new product to finish the job. Lost valuable time.

Absolute Garbage
Would Not RecommendBought this for my deck. Lasted less than 1 square foot. Contacted the company. Was told this is only meant for small applications and not for decks. Meanwhile the packaging advertises aggressive paint removal for wood. More like aggressive waste of money.

Make sure you have the correct one
Would RecommendThere seem to be two types, one has an empty center hole, and one has the nut attached to the center hole. Make sure you order the correct one for your type of sander. BTW, love this sander!
Stripped faster than it stripped paint
Would Not RecommendThis disc quickly stripped and was worthless in 2 minutes. Use the Diablo steel demon if you want to take paint off.

Would Not RecommendThis disk wore out WAYYYYY too fast for $10 a throw. It does a good job of stripping paint from the wood, but I expected much better longevity out of this. Disappointing.
