Would RecommendI replaced my roof in 10/2024 with Timberline HDZ(R). I hired a local contractor, D&D Roofing, Racine, WI. Living near Lake Michigan we experience all types of seasonal weather. D&D recommended GAF and other related materials to us. The installation and follow--up was excellent, and our first winter was without incident. Highly Recommend!

Would RecommendThe new roof looks very sharp and sleek. My contractor did an excellent job, they tore off the existing roof, installed the UHDZ shingles, and cleaned-up the site in one day. I am very impressed with the warranty of the product and the fact that it is wind and algae resistant.

Would RecommendI replaced my 20-year-old roof over a few weeks ago. I upgraded to UHDZ shingles for what I thought was a very affordable price. The added dual shadow line adds visual dimension that looks fantastic. I live in a wooded/shaded area, so the Stainguard Plus Pro algae protection clinched the deal. I compared the GAF Timberline products to other manufacturer and decided that GAF was the best roofing system.

Durable good looking UHDZ
We've had these on our house outside of Chicago since 2010. Despite multiple hail storms over the years, these are still going strong. I like the look of the thicker profile and the durability. You get what you pay for.

Great Shingles
Would RecommendThese Timberline UHDZ shingles look great on our home! They are 20% heavier than the regular Timberline shingles, have 30-year warrantee not to show algae stains, and with their double shadow look fantastic.

Unfortunately the Golden Pledge Limited Warranty with GAF WindProven Limited Wind Warranty of 130 mph for a Timberline UHDZ roof installed less than 1-year-ago is not honored for winds under 130 mph

Very nice appearance
I replaced my roof in June. In December 2023, I learned that my roof had hail damage and after research of the products on the market I chose to go with the GAF Timberline UHDZ and had the installer use The Timberline UHDZ along with the products to qualify me to receive the GAF Silver Pledge.
