New Roof Color with GAF

Our area had high wind damage from a storm that hit our area on March 13th, 2026. We had a Hunter Green dimensional shingles from another Brand & decided to go with the GAF Timberline Shingle per the recommendation from the Contractor J&J. We are pleased with the color & look of the roof. The new color inspired us to update all of our exterior doors on the house as well as our garage, and paint the shutters black to compliment the new roof color.

Great experience

New roof and gutters put on last week. Very efficient workers! (9 of them) and they finished even earlier than expected. My neighbor who watched them (and knows something about roofs) says they did the job the right way and did not cut any corners. So it looks like myself and the next owner should have a trouble free roof for many years to come!

Poor representation of color.

My primary concern is not product quality, time will tell about that, but color representation. The digital visualization and marketing materials you provide online led me to expect a significantly greener appearance for "hunter green" than the installed product. As someone with a professional background in color and visual communication, I believe GAF has an opportunity to improve how colors are represented so homeowners can make more informed decisions. Good Quality product,

I just replaced my roof a week and a half ago. I had research your product seven months ago, after my daughter had replaced her roof and the product look very nice and steady. The reviews very outstanding for his product. I knew I wanted this on my roof. I love the different colors to choose from and the strong texture plus how long product will last on my roof warranty. Love to add photo but do not know how to transfer from my phone. The house looks great.

Great company and quality work

We had Tru Colors contracting replace our roof a few days ago, and we couldn't be happier with the way the work was done, how the roof looks, the quality of the material and workmanship, and the clean up after the roof was done.
