Would Not RecommendWe buy a lot of materials from Lowe’s, including the beams for this job. We were told the forklift driver would help move a heavy beam with the delivery, and we confirmed it. He said yes, then left without notice, leaving us scrambling to handle a very heavy load. That was unprofessional and put us in a tough spot.

Good shingle at a great price
Would RecommendI picked Slate because it is $2 cheaper per bundle than the other HDZ ones. The only issue is that the Slate ridge cap bundles can be harder to find in stock. If you have SF insurance, using the HDZ shingles qualifies you for a homeowners insurance discount.

GAF Timberline HDZ shingles Excellent
Would RecommendI bought this last month for a repair on my roof, the tiles installed very easy. I have the Timberline HDZ on the whole roof but I had some damage from a tree falling. I am very pleased with the timberline HDZ roofing shingles and I wanted to keep everything the same.

The work crew from Magee Construction, Cedar Falls IA did a great job of getting in early in the day, setting up to get the job done as soon as the clock ticked 7:00, and getting completed shortly after 2:00. Great looking, Great Protection
Would RecommendOur roof was getting pretty ragged around the edges. I’ve always done my own but at 65 years old, it was time to let the professionals come in. The contractor that we hired was within a few miles from us and came over and took the time to walk through everything with us including the warranty advantages of having all of the materials purchased by one manufacturer. We are happy we did. Hopefully it will be many years before we have to worry about our roof again.
