After weeks of research, this microwave was near perfect. Only con: rather have a filament bulb for the stovetop light.

Replacing an Old over the range with the Frigidaire

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we purchased our old Microwave in 2002, I did the Installation so I knew what had to be done. About the only thing common to both, was the way the vent is arranged our old one was mounted on an outside wall, so the new microwave matched up perfectly with the old vent. It would be great if manufacturers made the mounting bracket and the cabinet mounting screws in the same location as it was I had to change the bracket and drill bigger hole...

Love everything about this product. Very quiet and smooth operation. Great number of cooking options and very easy to operate. It also has very clean and stylish look that would go with any kitchen decor.

Frigidaire microwave oven

The space for the oven was limited so by replacing with the same brand it actually fit in the old space beautifully. This is our third Frigidaire microwave over a span of 20+ years. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Surprisingly large cooking area for the size of the cabinet. Works well. Simple operations. Only downside thus far is the very cold LED light for over the stove and a warmer light is not available - looks industrial in an otherwise warm, kitchen environment.

Our new microwave

I am especially pleased by the light which shines from the microwave onto my stove. It’s located such as to light up the whole surface. This is something which our former one did not do, and it was really frustrating.

Does the job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a simple model with the basic functions. The only thing I am not happy with are the "preset" options like defrost and soften/melt. I have gotten used to the convenience of these on other models/brands, and this particular model does not compare. There are limited options for those preset, and they seem to be too strong (cooking the food rather than performing the function as intended).
