Good smoke alarm, but...
Would RecommendWe've had this model installed in our house since the place was built, and they've worked well. I'm just now replacing all five in the house because they've been in service for nearly nine years and one has started acting up, even after a battery change. The basic product is fine, but the battery compartment is awkward to work with from the top of a ladder. Also: what is the point of a carbon monoxide monitor that will virtually always be installed on or near the ceiling...? C'est la guerre.....
