Co2 sensor issues

I have ran my generator only 17 hours. Now the unit runs and after 2 minutes shuts off and yellow co2 light is on. The unit is outside 20 feet from house. Even tried to run a fan on the unit. Still shuts off. 1300.00 now for a useless unit.

Great Generator and Brand

Starts up great and has big fuel tank! Very simple to operate! Also can use propane/natural gas is a plus. Electric start with pull cord as back up. Definitely Worth it after researching many, many different generators.

Warranty

System is easy to set up and operate. Time will tell how well it holds up after a week or two of running after a hurricane. I would never buy the Lowes extended warranty as I have purchased 3 major products from Lowes and their third-party repair service sent me a check instead of repairing. Doesn't cover purchase of new product. Stick with the mfg. warranty and save yourselves $$$.

Firman generator for emergency

We lost power for six days in Houston TX. This generator did the job. Even better their customer service was excellent. Called Firman's support to ask about the generator to run my A/C unit, and I have a human being answered the phone and within a minute I was talking to a technician who provided an excellent suggestion

Manufacturing Defects

I got one of these generators to power my dog grooming trailer. After about 700 hours the throttle snapped in half. I got the replacement part ordered but I have a business to run and couldn’t reschedule 5 days of clients to wait for the part. So I decided to buy another new one thinking I would have a back up after I got the first one fixed. The new one ran for less than 50 hours before the CO sensor started to malfunction. AWESOME>>SO WORTH IT

The price, the quality, the ease of use. I had purchase a Duromax for over $2500 to run our RV. It ran for about 4 days until it broke down, I had problems on day 2 and never stopped. I downgraded to this one and I am so happy I did. This is way smaller and easier to move around, it has run great on both propane and gas. I am very very happy.

Its early on, but so far the device seems very ruggedly built and does what it advertises. Very easy to put together the very few parts that require it.

GOOD VALUE

wife and i got this for Christmas. Replacing 20 yr, old generator. started right up, switches are confusing, on/off toggle does nothing. generator cuts on and off with fuel selector knob.I only ran for a little while, will run real test after the holidays.

This thing is a beast!!!! Broken pole in backyard. No problem!! Barley went through a 1/4 tank of gas in 6hrs running my whole house!!! Wouldn't recommend any other brand!!! FIRMAN FOR LIFE!!!!
