Would RecommendI purchased the 10kw 50 Amp Tri Fuel generator for backup power on my home. Had my electrician install an Interlock on our main breaker panel. I can run my entire house with this unit. You'll need to alternate use of your large appliances, Stove, HW Heater, Dryer. Other than that, we can function normally during power loss with the Firman. And love the electric start! Would RecommendThis generator is well built and well laid out. I connected a natural gas line and wired it into my breaker panel to run the whole house. The kW reduction due to running on natural gas is still enough to run everything except the A/C, but I can switch to gasoline and the A/C works. It would be nice if there had been an option for a different power cord.

Pretty Good Generator
Would RecommendLowes did a great job as it arrived on time as ordered. It is very easy to set up and get running. 15 to 20 minutes to unbox, attach the wheels and rubber pedestal leg, add the supplied quart of oil, and connect the battery. I noticed one cross member of the frame was bent, but there was no damage to the box. After I connected the generator to my Rhino propane tank, it started up with no issues. It runs quieter than my Westinghouse.
