Great generator

This generator has been amazing. It’s easy to use, provides power for our entire house!

Worth every penny!

The Firman T08073 is a workhorse! The tri fuel works amazing for us. The electric start works awesome and starts every time no problem at all! It is a bit heavier than I anticipated but with how easy it states and all the controls I'll take it! The extra heavy duty cord is worth its weight in gold and controlled everything we put at it. The generator runs all day on one tank of propane powering 2 deep freezers, 2 refrigerators and numerous other items without hesitation.

Decent generator for the price.

It has a lot of output for home use. It does seem to have a few issues related to the CO2 sensor and does seem to flicker or put out power that is not as steady or clean as typical power you get from the power company. I would not recommend using it for sensitive electronics. It does have some issues with starting, from what I have seen with others who have the same generator, but this seems to be mostly related to use of natural gas. Rod broke

Within 4 months of using this generator my rod broke. Having pieces break off and oil spilling everywhere.

Absolutely wonderful.

Love this generator. Having the option to use 3 different types of fuel is so great. We have a natural gas line going to our outdoor grill that we were able to just connect to the generator. Very easy setup. So glad we bought this one. No searching for gas or propane.

Firman Sucks

Firman generator worked fine when we got home on propane. 2 weeks later power goes out and won't start. I call customer service. They trouble shoot with me and send parts. 1 week later I put the parts on and still won't start. Called back more trouble shooting, send a video of me actually following the steps. They finally call back 2 weeks later and say yeah you did everything right. They would not send me a new one and made me take it to a service center over 100 miles away that is only open th...

Powered my entire house.

No gas is available where I live so when power goes out we're screwed. This machine powered a 30 gallon electric water heater, 3/4 horsepower well pump, 2 ton heat pump and all outlets, lights and appliances with no problems. Only appliance not operated was 25 year old electric range, didn't need it with a microwave and hotplates. Moving the 200 pound beast isn't the easiest when rolling through grass and mud. Very awesome generator!! Runs great welll built and good quality the only down fall is when fuel is low it won’t crank it’s got to be over a certain level in the tank to crank it up but other than that no complaints

An outstanding generator!

got this one today and went straight to the backyard to test it out. output power is great, the included cover, propane hookup hose and 30 amp power cord are huge pluses and were definite selling points for me. my old generator was from 2005 and was "hearing protection loud". the firman, you can be around it without earpro, but its is NOT 72dB.. that is absolutely not correct. at idle its in the mid-high 90s, still significantly quieter than my old generator (which is what i wanted). dB ai...

Gen Set Delivery

Lowes arrived ahead of schedule to my delight and delivered the 250 lb generator right to the front of my garage door so I could assemble. Easy assembly once out of box. Thank you Lowes and thank you Lowes delivery contractor......great job by the two men.

runs on gas but not on propane yet

this is a very heavy generator, you will need help lifting it out of your truck etc. I could not get it to run on propane, I think it is the regulator hose, it started right up on gasoline. I do like it but im wondering about the propane regulator and if they will replace it.

I love my Firmans

Have to say it works just as good as my other one same style different model #. Only complaint is it a lot louder than my other unit. Not sure why but way louder...

Wouldnt Stay On

Great while running, plenty of power. Had the generator in the middle of the driveway with nothing around it and the carbon monoxide sensor kept shutting it down. Had to put a box fan on it to keep it from shutting off and taping the carbon monoxide sensor. Returned it, also had a gas leak from the line running directly behind the tank to the panel. Apparently the sensor is a known issue online, most peolpe bipass it, but for the money i shouldnt have to modify the equipment. Will be gettin...

Better to buy name brand and not this!
