What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these cap nails for securing house wraps, foam insulation, and tarps in weather-exposed applications. The wide plastic heads distribute pressure evenly, preventing material tearing and creating watertight seals. Most find them easy to drive and appreciate the integrated cap design that eliminates separate washers. Many highlight their effectiveness in windy conditions and roof tarping. However, some report the nail shafts bend easily when struck off-center or driven into softer woods like pine, with a few suggesting pre-drilling or shorter lengths. Despite this durability concern, most customers consider them highly effective for their intended purpose.

Would Not RecommendNails received were 1" - boards were 1". We had to run to the hardware store to buy longer nails.

Absolute garbage
Would Not RecommendBought a box of these to secure some Tyvek to the side of my house after a storm. These are soft-shanked nails, and easily lost at least 1/3 of what I used to bending. When you sink them, they hold, I'll give them that. But sinking them seems to be an issue.

I agree...get rid of the nails and use screws!
Would Not RecommendI bent many nails trying to nail into 3/8 inch plywood with 1 inch foam board, so I took the nails out and replaced them with screws and I had no problems after that. The nails suck!

It works
Would RecommendDone a bunch of roofing jobs and the one thing that bothers me the most about these nails is how long they are. Your using this thing to hold down felt which has the thickness of card board paper. I think they make smaller ones. But still there to long to.

Button Nails (use with foam board)
Would RecommendThe specific nails are what I use with Foam Board installation. Check out the photos and pay attention to how the nail caps allow for tightening the material to the walls or object.

worked well.
Would Recommendworked well for what I was using it for. I didn't give it five stars because the plastic seemed thinner than it used to be.
