Darn thing works GREAT cutting steel! So far no fingers!!! This one is on the sliding miter saw. Mainly for cutting plate stuff, so it is a long cut.

I have used different brand blades, Diablo, Lenox, some I bought at the metal place I get my steel from, to name a few. Evolution blades by far have out-cut every blade I have bought.

Unfortunately I have gone through 2 blades in 2 uses. For some reason the scrap pieces are catching the blade and breaking teeth. I have to hold the scrap pieces as there being cut,not the safest.

Works great.better than the advertised specs.i cut a 4 and half inch pipe 1/4 inch thick in a 45 angle with room to spare.

Cut through low-carbon steel with ease. I haven't had a chance to use it on other materials yet, but I'm confident it will work well with harder materials.

I have been using an Evolution metal saw for about 6 years, best investment I have ever made, the blade lasts a very long time and makes straight cuts with almost no sparks also the 14" blade is a good value as well.
