Unsatisfactory Is An Understatement!

Like many other people writing the review in the last year, this filter is of poor quality. I have been through 5 filters in the last year and just installed my 6th. This filter works for the first couple of weeks then the water slows to a trickle. This effects the other features of the fridge like ice production. Works ok, but expensive

Doesnt last as long

A totally necessary item you need to buy , of course , but I notice they only last about half the time my old model refrigerators filter did, 6 months. Fortunately I bought the warranty, so you can get reimbursed for half the price as a gift card which makes it about the same price.

Replaced water filter with this and could not get it to stop leaking. Had to put old filter back in until I can get a replacement

Half the life advertised most expensive to replace

Brand new refrigerator and the filter lasts 3 months, not the 6 months or even close to what it is advertised to accommodate. I’m concerned about the expense, this very expensive water filter, will now incur. Losing faith in Whirlpool, they used to be a brand you could trust.

Poor service

Not great. Shipping was delayed for the refrigerator, and refrigerator came to my home damaged.

Restricted the water flow,

Bought a two pack. The first filter reduced the water flow significantly so we swapped it out for the second filter and it works fine. Now I have to figure out how to return/refunded or get a replacement which seems to be very difficult through their chat and phone number.

Poor service

Wrong filters!! Bought a new fridge and registered it. Received emails and mailing offering replacement filters at a discount. I went online, entered the code, and was sent filters only to discover they were wrong. Why would you recommend and identify the wrong filter for my model? What an unnecessary hassle. Also not thrilled the filters are only good for 200 gallons.
