What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the product's affordability and strong performance for yard repairs, filling low spots, and leveling lawns. Most appreciate how easy it spreads and handles, with many reporting successful grass growth after seeding. While numerous reviewers debate its classification, noting it resembles mulch rather than traditional topsoil, most accept it for its intended use and value. Some find it works well when blended with compost or manure for gardening. A few report texture inconsistencies or odor, though these concerns are outweighed by satisfaction with functionality and cost-effectiveness.

More like a rich planting mix vs. soil
Would RecommendTop soil, in my opinion, is more like a planters mix and compost combo. I like it. Very light amount of sand is added. No rocks or finger sized mulch was observed. I use it as part of my potting mix for transplanting plants or direct mix with soil for planting trees.

Good choice for small jobs
Would RecommendI bought this to fill in a hole left behind from a bush I removed. Great choice for small jobs like this. Used my tamping tool after each bag.
