Does the job

Would Recommend

Good, solid hammer. Bought it for busting up an old brick fireplace without damaging the gas fireplace insert. Heavy enough to do the job, but not so heavy as to cause any serious wrist-strain issues. Rubber handle holds securely in rubber or leather gloves, in a medium to large hand. When done, except for the inevitable wear to the finish of the head, hammer as solid as new.

Delighted with this high quality hammer!

Would Recommend

I have the need to drive 1/2” rebar and this hammer is the beast for that job. It’s got the weight and surface area to drive rebar with every stroke, but not so heavy that I wear out before I get the job done. It also makes short work of rocks that need to.be cracked out of the way. The right tool for jobs that the standard hammers are too light to tackle.

Perfect Lightweight Balcksmith hammer

Would Recommend

for some jobs you just do not want the heavy weight hammer. This one while not having the preferred hickory handle works just fine for the light work.

Estwing 64-oz hammer

Would Recommend

I used this hammer to flatten dollar store spoons for my wife's 2019 Christmas ornaments. I flattened about 3 dozen using an old scrap piece of 1/4 steel below the spoons. I wrapped the spoons with an old tee shirt. Mission accomplished.

This is one solid hammer.

Would Recommend

It's a big, solid steel hammer. It hammers well and truly. If you apply it to another object with sufficient force, that object will indeed be well hammered. Caution; this item will not get you hammered, but it will hammer anything you forcibly apply it to. I've used it to hammer several pieces of metal into shapes I found desirable; when used with an anvil it excels at hammering metals into shapes. I would definitely recommend this hammer to any of my friends in need of a good blacksmith hammer...
