Great product

After going through 2 failed purchases elsewhere at other competitors, we searched the Lowes website and chose this range vent. Delivered to the store, easy pick up, very friendly staff. It's heavy so 2 people to install it. I recommend adding 2 blocks of wood under your cabinet to screw into. Very pleased so far with its features.

Decent fan. Difficult to install. Bad lights

You will need 2 people and cabinet jacks to install this product. It is quite heavy and awkward to handle. The screws that come with it for under-cabinet mounting are too small for the job and we had to upgrade them to something larger. We ended up drilling new holes to add more screws for support. The lights are VERY dim - and only useful as a night-light. Completely inadequate for lighting the cook surface. We don't find it to be any more noisy than any other fan. Beware angle of the hood... not in product descrip

Product details don't match product. Turns out the rear of the hood is 6", but the front (nearest caninet edge) is 5.5". That half inch difference made the hood angle upwards once installed. Without serious modifications, it looked absolutely silly. Nowhere on the product description was it mentioned. Returned immediately.

It is a very good fan and moves a lot of air.

I like the hood fan and its works very well. The only thing I am not really happy about is the lighting does not seem very bright. I like more light to cook by.

Pain to install

Seems to be good quality but is a huge pain to install and has very little instructions and hardware.

Great Range hood!

The range hood looks even more beautiful in person. The fan seems extremely powerful so far and has 4 settings. The highest setting is loud but a great option if you need significant exhaust power.

Compliments our kitchen and life

I like that this fan is very powerful and has 4 speeds. My favorite feature is the count down timer, after cooking, set the timer and it powers down on it's own so you can enjoy your meal! The install required some extra muscle but was worth it.

not for quiet home use.

too loud, not enough light under hood. no variable speed on fan. very heavy material , over 40 pounds of weight. had to reenforce the supports to install unit.

Emprava 36" ducted hood vent

This hood vent is very well made. When turned on it does not make a lot of noise and does a great job of suctioning all the steam from cooking. I also think that i purchased this hood vent for a very fair price.

Great kitchen exhaust fan

Moves a lot of air. When you use setting 3 and 4 on the fan it's loud, I don't mind it though because I know it's taking the heat out of the kitchen. I also like that it's 22 inches deep meaning it works great for the front big burners. Sometimes others can be too short and you can get condensation in the front, but not this one.

Strong and powerful, but a bit hard to install.

Pros: ....The dual fans are quite powerful and exhaust air quickly. ....Dishwasher safe removeable traps.
