Ratings & Reviews for Electrolux High Efficiency Stackable Medium ( 4.5-cu ft ) Front Load Washer ( Glacier Blue )

So Far So Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the washing machine so far. Nice features, quiet and great spin out. I'm a bit nervous about all the bells and whistles. I hope this computer board lasts longer than other brand washers we owned prior. I purchased the Extended warranty because of previous bad luck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t like how wet the door & gasket are after any wash. My old washer did not have this issue. I really like being able to load the pods in the tray. The quietness when in use is excellent, too.

Solid Unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lots of great options on cleaning and easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washer and Dryer hold more then expected. Product is great.

Electrolux washer

This is the 3d washer Lowe’s brought to the house. The first one shook so hard on the final spin it was almost as bad as my broken washer. The second one never got brought into the house because the tub had a huge hole in it. The 3d one is better. BUT. It wakes me out of a sound sleep when it spins due to the shaking and floor vibrating. It cleans well. It seems to be very water efficient. But I’m disappointed that a new washer makes this much noise and vibration. For the money I expecte...

First wash machine supposedly had a manufacturer defect and flooded our laundry room and caused damage to adjacent hard wood floor. Replacement washer is working fine.

1 year and no issues

Purchased the washer and dryer and have been happy with both so far. Good cleaning, lots of options on load types, pre soaking etc. Only complaint would be the initial fragrance smell on the washer door seal, but that has finally wore off after 1 year. Get a lot of compliments on the color, although i wouldnt personally choose a washer/dryer set for pretty colors. Hoping to last for a good 10 years!

Front load washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only had it a few weeks and seams to be doing a great job,so far. Tried many others with mixed reviews, hoping this is the one.

Do not buy — major design flaw or bad batch

We purchased this washing machine#ELFW7437AT and immediately upon installation, water ran directly out the bottom of the unit onto the floor. No water made it into the tub, even though it was successfully passing through the detergent drawer. The hookups at the back were completely dry, ruling out an installation error. Thinking we just got a dud, we worked with Lowe's to get an identical replacement. The exact same thing happened with the second machine. We returned it as well and bought a dif...

Disappointing overall

Thought I was leveling up with this machine, but it’s just glitch after glitch. There is an impossible to cover crack between the door and frame in which socks (especially tiny human socks) get stuck, sopping wet, and never clean. Also this machine consistently spins less than I set it to—often the loads finish soaking wet even when set to maximum spin. Also, no pre-soak setting. Wish I had re-bought the Samsung set I had at my old house.

Perfect for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm in a wheelchair so the Electrolux-Front Load Perfect Steam™ Washer with LuxCare® Wash is at the perfect height for me. Front loading is easy. Preselect wash and rinse modes are easy to understand and the choices cover all my washing needs. I use the washer in tandem with the Electrolux Front Loading dryer. They're both so quiet and a huge step up from my previous washer and dryer. Thank you!
