This is my second EGO string trimmer. After the first one's "trigger" mechanism failed, the tool was replaced under warranty with the one I own now, which is the subject of this review. This unit has features that my old one did not. So far, I have not used it a lot, but I have been well impressed by it. One possible concern is at low speeds, the power head (if that's the correct term) sometimes makes a bit of a screeching sound. I hope it's nothing serious, and that aside, the trimmer operates ...

So far this trimmer has been easy and comfortable to use. Much more convenient than my gas trimmer and it weighs about the same or a bit less.
