I purchased this in replacement of my Worx dual battery trimmer. My Worx was still functional and battery life was decent but I needed something with a bit more cutting and power flexibility. The adjustable speed and the safety trigger lever is a nice addition to this tool to keep from accidentally turning on by laying on the ground or the grand kiddos close to my tools. Power+ 15" String Trimmer
It was a little iffy in the beginning. It took a little bit to figure out which way to turn it when edging the grass. Other than that it's been a little champ. I had some higher weeds - which that too can be a little problamatic. When I wen't out to the front yard it worked like a champ. I'm happy!

Pretty darn good
I love the fact that your company makes the power pack batteries work in all of the different tools. The leaf blower is wonderful, I use it on the turbo boost all the time and it is equal to my gas blower that I used to have. And the Weedwhacker/trimmer is wonderful because it extends and fits me because I am a tall person I do not have to stoop over. Thanks for a great product Robert.

Great buy
Good buy, my old one the motor went out. It is a slightly different model with a larger cutting area. It also seems to have more power. The only thing is the cutting guar is smaller, so I end up with more grass on me from the cuttings.

Rapid Reload Head Difficult
Would Not RecommendFeed of new string does not work as described. Head is difficult to remove. string does not feed properly. Not sure if I would buy again.

Works great, surprised by small battery
Would RecommendWorks great and gets the job done effortlessly, have to say that I'm pretty impressed with the Ego products. I have leaf blower, whipper snipper and push lawn mower. I was disappointed with the size of the battery that came with the whipper snipper but obviously I'll live with it.

Good tool.
BEST part is that it started up FIRST TIME ( not like my gas powered Echo, which is why I went electric). Plenty of power to mow down the toughest weeds. I used my 5.0 battery and it was still going strong when I became worn out and had to quit. Everything worked great.
