Would RecommendIt may be a tad expensive but with having the ability to have 4 batteries available thats definitely super useful on how long the unit can run. Another rare trait is this company stands by their product and honors their warranty and doesn't try and find a reason to not to honor it. I just got a brand new replacement unit due to a unusual reason but im confident if the company tried they could have found a way to blame me negating the warranty and they didn't. Would Not RecommendThis device holds any combination of up to 4 x EGO batteries of any capacity from 2.5 to 10.0 Ah. It can only charge one battery at a time, so it sequentially charges them beginning with the lowest charge battery. It cannot automatically turn on, nor can it charge while outputting power, so it cannot be used as a true back-up or uninterruptible power source, which is a shame for something at this price point. Would RecommendPurchased the Ego Power+ Nexus 4 x 5Ah batteries 2000 Watts Portable Power Station to have in case of power outage (instead of a gas generator). Purchased at Lowe's in Vacaville, CA and Steve Bell at the Pro Desk was extremely helpful answering our questions and making sure we got our item promptly. Easy to Carry!
Honestly, I haven’t used it yet. I will say that it was very easy to plug-in and charge the whole unit with the batteries inserted. It is light enough for me to carry, and that is a big plus! I got it just in case our electricity went off so that I could plug-in a heater and possibly a microwave. I will keep you posted.

No App for the connectivity anymore.
Would Not RecommendThe App for the connectivity to WIFI and Bluetooth (EGO Power Plus) does not exist anymore in the Play Store. It was removed December 31st. 2024. The App available currently ( EGO Connect) Does NOT allow you to connect to this device. It's just for registering your product and selling you more EGO brand item's. I bought this EGO Nexus power station over the competitors for this feature and the App Does not exist anymore? Come on EGO. Very misleading, they boldly advertise this feature everywhere...
