Nice to have for emergencies or an extra outlet
Would RecommendSo far I have not had to plug my refrigerator in it because we have not lost power since I bought this. But I have always wanted an outlet on my front porch and this comes in handy for that. In the evenings, I sit on the porch and plug in my bug zapper. I sometimes sit for hours and there is still plenty of battery life left for the inverter. I am glad I bought this and wish I would have gotten this a long time ago.

Red Light of Death
Would Not RecommendI have used it maybe twice. now it has the red light of death. It has not been overloaded. Since it was a gift I don't have a receipt. In spite of it having a 5 year warranty and it clearly being manufactured within that warranty period Ego won't stand behind this defective product. Sad!
