While I haven’t needed to use it yet, one thing I noticed right away is that when charging the battery is the plug get very, very hot! Makes me not want to use it as a charger at all.

Power+ Nexus Escape 400W Inverter, 4.0 Battery

This is the second EGO inverter I have purchased. We have power shortages from time to time and need this to keep the refrigerator going until power comes bace on. I have a supply of batteries for my other EGO products and have used my first inverter to run Refrigerator, TV, and a blender for smoothies. Ego batteries have never let me down, My first Ego 100 watt charger. Very impressed so far.

Love this lil thing

Would Recommend

Bought in the midst of a power outage in SE Michigan, I have 2 5ah, 1 2.5ah and 1 7.5ah battery from various ego equiptment. Would be nice to have a larger backup battery or power solution but I figured why not make use of the power I already have. This thing is pretty great and we've been running a stand fan overnight to help keep our room cool and charge devices which has been massive. Should have bought this a long time ago.

The Perfect Addition to Ego Lineup

Would Recommend

This has been such a great addition to the Ego lineup! We’ve used it the power large speakers during parades, charge laptops during power outages, charge phones during camping, etc. I have also used it to power internet and computers during power outages to keep working remote jobs. Combined with the large 7.5 ah or 10 ah batteries, this lasts for hours and hours and hours. I absolutely love this product.

Portable Power For My Pellet Grill

Would Recommend

I purchased the first Ego inverter they made when they came out but found it was not a pure sine wave- so afraid to use in on electronics. When my overnight pork shoulder lost power at 5AM I couldn't believe it so I bought this inverter since it claimed to be a pure sine wave. I plugged my grill into it and strange after 2 hours it shut down. Ends up if the inverter sees less than 10W power for 2-hours it shuts down. My grill uses 7W. So I had to buy a USB light bulb to use as a parasitic load t...
