Portable Power For My Pellet Grill

Would Recommend

I purchased the first Ego inverter they made when they came out but found it was not a pure sine wave- so afraid to use in on electronics. When my overnight pork shoulder lost power at 5AM I couldn't believe it so I bought this inverter since it claimed to be a pure sine wave. I plugged my grill into it and strange after 2 hours it shut down. Ends up if the inverter sees less than 10W power for 2-hours it shuts down. My grill uses 7W. So I had to buy a USB light bulb to use as a parasitic load t...

Great little inverter

Would Recommend

Great inverter with great features. Uses multiple sizes of Ego batteries making it flexible. Only ding is it shuts off at two hours if the load is at or below 10 watts. My CPAP only uses about 8 watts so when camping I’ll need to run a fan or something to keep the load high enough.

Battery syncing

Would Recommend

I bought it to charge my batteries to re-sync all the cells so far so good. I use it for other things as a bonus, but my batteries seem to be lasting a lot longer charging it with a USB-C.

Turns Ego Batteries into Mini Power Station

Would Recommend

I am in the Ego battery ecosystem and once in an ecosystem, you tend to stay there. Ego is unique in that it is a 56-volt system vs many competitors are in the 20v range. With these being over double the voltage than the regular power tool battery, you get much more life out of them compared to a 20v that is of the same amp hour. This is crucial when thinking about turning your batteries into a mini portable powerstation. I used this inverter while i was camping. I took a medium sized fan into m...
