Another gem in my Ego kit

This thing is a beast! I live in very rocky terrain with packed clay soil and this thing tears right through it. It saved me a ton of work and backache with a pickaxe and has left us with some beautifully fluffy soil to plant in. Another win for Ego!

Great attachment

Used it twice so far in deeply compacted and dry clay soil. Worked like a dream. Has some heft, though not so much as to be unwieldy. The blades are sturdy and make short work of smaller jobs. I use this for backyard gardening and yard work. Planning to chew through some stubborn shrub roots soon and do not anticipate any issues. Significant power.

Works for me!

Bought it to break up the mulch beds around my home before top dressing with new mulch. Worked very well. You can control how deep it goes by adjusting downward pressure exerted. Also, worked great on cultivating the soil in my raised bed gardens. 2.5 Ah battery held up well.

A great investment that will get its use for sure

I absolutely love my EGO tools. This is the latest I have added to the collection in order to smooth out a rough area where sticker bushes had grown wild. This thing powered through a 30x20 area with plenty of battery to spare. It pulled up rocks, small vines, and everything else under the dirt with ease. Well worth the investment. PS- also check out the brush cutter attachment… that thing rocks too.

Easily handles grass and soil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great tool! Easily displaced very dry grass and soil in seconds, when a shovel and pick axe would have taken forever. It has two settings, the lower speed works really well if you're moving through soil and the second works well for grass. Though, my attached video was just on the slower setting and it easily displaced the soil and grass with zero effort form me needed. Good; it's a small project cultivator not a tiller

I needed a tiller/cultivator, and as I have moved entirely away from internal combustion engines and already have an investment in the EGO battery system (grass trimmer, chainsaw, push mower, zero-turn mower, hedge trimmer, blower) it made sense to look to EGO's solution. In many ways I wish that this system (Power+ Multi-head System) had been available when I started with EGO as some of those tools could have been part of the multi-head system. This cultivator head works for the limited garden...

Light weight and easy to use

This is another great tool in the Multi-Head System! It works very well and is lightweight. Just know this is a light duty unit and not intended to tear up a half acre area!

Works as well as my old 4 stroke gas mini tiller

I used the cultivator attachment to break ground for new planting beds. It worked well. I’ll have to do a second pass to finish off before mulching.

Worth it!

It gets the job done quickly and safely. I’ve been able to till several flower beds on one charge. It makes a difficult job much easier

Ease of use

This is very easy to use. Easy to store. If you do need to do huge areas this is a good option.
