What Customers Are Saying
The cordless chainsaw provides impressive power and performance, cutting through wood efficiently. Users praise its quiet operation, easy start-up, and long-lasting battery life. However, the battery may drain quickly when tackling larger or harder wood. The chain tensioning system also requires frequent adjustments. Overall, the chainsaw is considered a high-quality, well-engineered product that delivers convenient and effective cutting for homeowner and light-duty professional use.

Great Power, Safety, and Value
Would RecommendBought this after Hurricane Milton and it’s been a lifesaver for cutting large limbs and trees. The 18" bar has excellent cutting power, and I love the safety features—especially important to me. It’s quiet for a chainsaw, easy to use, and the auto chain tensioning is a huge plus. Battery life is solid for light to medium work, and having the battery and charger included makes it a great value. Another win from EGO!

Third in a line of EGO tools.
This is the third EGO tool I have purchased. I like the fact that all the batteries are interchangeable, though amps are different and some will have shorter run times as a result. Each of the tools have performed well, our mower is on it’s fourth season and our snowblower out performed our old gas powered unit. The chainsaw, our most recent purchased has been a pleasure to use.

Lightweight and dependable
Would RecommendThis saw is fantastic. Cuts with power and much less noise than a gas powered one. Each battery charge lasts a relatively long time.

Solid
Would RecommendIt’s exactly as advertised. Works like a gas saw. Downsides are the weight because the battery is on the heavy side and the price is a little high if not on sale

Batteries are just too much
Would Not RecommendPretty decent tool, but the manufacturer has priced themself out of the market with their battery prices. At over $300+(including taxes) for a 4ah battery, and over $500+ (including taxes) for a 8ah battery, it's just too much. It's back to gas powered tools for me. I can fuel up my chainsaw an ungodly amount of times for what these folks are wanting for their batteries (Not to mention, a good gas-powered saw can run ALL DAY LONG!). And lord have mercy, if you wanted to have (2) 8ah batteries, y...

EGO 18” chainsaw
The EGO 18” CS1804 chainsaw is excellent and exceeds my expectations. I wisely purchased a second battery to enable sustained work for several hours.
