Battery life consistently impresses, with users completing multi-tree sessions while retaining substantial charge. Most appreciate the hassle-free experience without gas, oil mixing, or pull-starts. Weight is noted as heavy but manageable and well-balanced. Minor concerns include chain tensioning requiring tools and occasional chain dulling. Overall, reviewers strongly recommend it for homeowners and occasional users.

I am surprisingly happy with this EGO chainsaw. Cutting is comparable to a gas saw and I cut down and then cut up a complete tree about 12” diameter and still had half the battery life left. This electric saw starts EVERY time you push the button!

Great machine!
Would RecommendThe chainsaw does a fine job. Is much quieter than a gas-powered chainsaw. The battery lasts a long time. My son enjoyed using it. Your pictures.

Cuts like a hot knife through butter
Would RecommendEasy to use, powerful, plug and play. Felled and cut up a large tree with very little difficulty. Battery takes longer to charge than I would like but performs better than I expected. Won’t be going back to gas powered saw.

Excellent Product
I cut up 50' of a redwood tree trunk that was larger than a phone pole. This saw went through it like butter. After 3 hours of cutting, I still had over half the battery left. Considering the size and weight of this saw compared to my old 16" gas unit, I was surprised at how easy it was to handle. I actually found it easier to use than the old saw: No noise when the blade stops, no pulling a cord to start an engine, no exhaust fumes.

Nice unit
Runs like a top. Anti-kickback feature is a little too sensitive though.

Very satisfied
Bought this for home use as my gas saw kept needing service (I don't use them alot and I do drain the tank). I did get a second battery and I found doing a lot of continuous cutting vs doing a few cuts then stacking the wood does drain the batterys faster. Overall I love it and it has worked great!
