To early to assess

It's to early to assess the potential in one day of use it behaved as a champion but is to early to say if it is a reliable assistance to my needs. I have a big forest and patio. I cut for two hours and the battery when down fast. Today, I cleaned and will test it again thid weekend.

Better than I expected

More powerful than I expected! Works great for cutting firewood or wood for the fire pit

Excellent saw and well worth the money.

This chainsaw is the best that I've ever owned; and I have owned a couple of other gas powered saws in the past. The EGO is an amazing machine that does a much better job. I used it to cut down a couple of white pines that were severely damaged by the winter snow storm that we had back in February. I highly recommend it. 5 star review from me.

Does NOT disappoint!!

I’ve used 16” gas and electric saws in the past and was pleased with their performance however this time I wanted something with more power and reach. This saw makes trees and limbs fast work . I used it cutting for an 8 hr period and only used half of the battery life. I don’t cut wood very often which is why I chose to go electric vs. traditional gas saws ( extended storage does not create future startup problems). I like the power and versatility. cuts like a gas-powered 50cc 2 stroke without the noise or the hassle

Freaking love this thing.

I've only had to use it on Eco mode but it cuts like butter. Yes, the chain plays a big part, but it's powerful and easy to use. I fell and delimbed 6 trees ranging from 5" to 10" diameters and still had 4/5's battery charge left. It has a recessed spot for the chainsaw tool and a flashlight.

Cuts Great, Lots Of Weight

If you want cutting speed and power, instant start up and longer battery life, this is the saw for you. On the other hand, if you’re 120 lbs and under, you might want to start a weight lifting program before running this saw for any length of time. It is beefy. I knew what I was getting into, so it’s not like I was surprised, but it is all of the 14-15 lbs it says it is, with the battery. I wanted a chain length of at least 18”, so this one is great. And it’s going to keep me fit, too…

Great Saw, pretty heavy.

I already had the 18 inch saw, wanted to upgrade. This 20 inch saw is awesome, buy it with confidence.

Chain came off after 5 minutes of light use

Chain came off after 5 minutes of light use, made sure it was tightened correctly prior to use. Put chain back on, tightened it and soon as I pull trigger it comes off, tried it 3 more times, same result.

Excellent saw.

This is an excellent saw. I didn't want a toy and I didn't get one either. I have worked all day several times and the battery never got below 4 out of 5 bars except once when I forgot to charge it. That time it still had 3 out of 5 bars at the end of the day. It's heavy but it's a real hard working tool.
